Ripples & Waves

Ultraviolet's debut album - Ripples & Waves - features eight original tracks and is adventurous, groove-heavy and full of genre-defying, experimental energy. Beyond a traditional power trio format, Ultraviolet utilizes acoustic drums played primarily with driftwood sticks (sourced from Vancouver Island beaches), bass guitars (electric & semi-acoustic), and electric guitars (including the innovative tap/touch-style U10 Touch Guitar), singing bowl, tabla and minimal vocals. Ripples & Waves was recorded live-off-the-floor over a two-day session in 2023, with Jeff Drummond at the mixing/engineering controls, and later mastering by Dave Horrocks at Infinite Wave Mastering, Calgary.
